I just returned from a week with Hanli and Peter in Cabo Pulmo Baja California. It was, hands down, the most enjoyable and fulfilling vacation I have ever had. Imagine waking each day to the sun rising over the sea, followed by a delicious, healthy breakfast to jumpstart a day filled with riches: yoga, freediving instruction, swimming with whale sharks, sea lions, and gigantic schools of jackfish, and long conversations with the conservationists working so hard to protect them. I didn't just learn to feedive. This experience fed my body, my heart, my mind with nourishment that will fuel the rest of my life.

As 2016 comes to an end...time to look back: the highlight of the year for me? No hesitation: my trip to Baja with Hanli and Peter, plus a small group of friends. An amazing unforgettable experience, learning about the real world (not a bad idea to go back to basis: water is the keyword), and the wonderful creatures who live around us, and learning about myself (how long can I forget about breathing?), whilst being pampered like a princess. Hanli and Peter have re-invented "client service" and "hospitality", effortlessly it seems. But a lot of efforts go behind the scene: Fancy a freshly-prepared smoothie at the crack of dawn, there you go! No shower facilities at the marina: not to worry, they will make the shower happen. Need to stretch your muscles after a long day: candle-lit Yoga session with the sound of the sea waves in the background. That may sound incredible to the common traveller, who has not yet had the chance to meet the Marvellous Mermaid and her Flying Dolphin.
‘The I AM WATER Ocean Travel Mexico experience was the greatest vacation I have ever taken in my life!! It perfectly served my curiosity by combining the learning aspect of our fascinating ocean and the sport of free diving plus the relaxing of being in such an incredible location.
